In an effort to lower the barriers for student field-trips, the Dali Museum offers free or reduced admission
for students visiting in groups during the school calendar year.
September through May
During the school year, K-12th grade school groups of 10 or more may be eligible to receive free admission (Tuesday-Friday)
and a docent-led tour at 10 a.m. or 12 noon with this complimentary visit program
Book early! Tour time availability is limited due to popularity.
Booking Your Tour
You will receive a response within 72 hours. The confirmation email will serve as your receipt.
Due to the popularity of our complimentary school tour program, please provide at least three dates and times on your form for processing. Should your requested tour times/dates not be available, someone from the Museum will contact you via email.
After you have confirmed your tour, please print and thoroughly review the Teacher Guide before your visit. Pay close attention to School Tour Visit Guidelines as well as Chaperone Guidelines. Please make sure to review museum etiquette with your students prior to your arrival at the Museum. Planning Your Day
Tours last approximately one hour. Please note that should your group arrive late, your tour will be shortened to accommodate the amount of time left in your designated hour.
Please note some of the following guidelines:
School groups are limited to 60 people per tour time.
One free teacher or chaperone is allowed per 10 students. Additional chaperones will be charged a reduced admission fee of $18.75.
Chaperones are required to oversee with their groups at all times.
Student Group Tours MUST be pre-booked at least 6 weeks in advance.
Student Group Tours are available, Tuesday through Friday: 10:00 a.m. or 11:00 a.m.
If you are planning to eat lunch after or before your scheduled visit to the Museum, please be aware that the Museum does not offer a dedicated space to have lunch on the grounds. Neighboring parks are often available (The Plaza between the Mahaffey Theater and the Dali as well as Albert Whitted Park across from the Dali, when available) These areas offer little shade at lunchtime. Please be conscious of the weather on the day of your trip.

Summer and Weekends
Weekends and summer, a group of 10 students or more ages 6- 12 are eligible for Group Sales at a reduced rate of $5.50. Students ages 13-17 receive Group Sales at a reduced rate of $12. During these times, teachers or adult chaperones receive group rate admissions: $18.75. In addition, private docent-led tour opportunities are available for groups for an additional cost.
Private summer or weekend tours with a dedicated docent can be provided for a fee in addition to the per person rates mentioned above. Headphones may be provided for maximum enjoyment during these tours.
Summer and Weekend Private docent-led student group tours are:
1-9 Guests - Discounted Group Rate per person plus a $100 fee for the Private docent.
10+ Guests - Discounted Group Rate per person plus $10 per person for the Private docent.
