This is the first statewide Student Surrealist Art Exhibition for middle and high school students. The theme "Strangely Familiar" asks students to create something unique, unexpected and unfamiliar in an 8x10" format from one's everyday surroundings in order to surprise, shock or disturb. Through this exhibit, the Dali Museum seeks to make a difference in the statewide community by recognizing the role our art teachers play in their students' development, and by encouraging students to continue exploring new ideas and creative thinking in all fields of education.
